Just one word can make us Panic. Can throw us into such a dither and make us break down into such endless messes of worries? Certainly it doesn’t soothe the soul nor ease the pains we already face on our daily grind to make ends meet.

It is earth shattering and will break toughest of men and women. It will bring us to our knees and make us weep. Even give us random thoughts of doing something really stupid. Like, like, well, like something that would upset all involved.

There is no mercy and it can happen to all of us whether or not we are expecting it. A tragic and an undeniable truth. It will literally throw you into sleepless nights. You will toss, turn, fret, worry and most of all are Stressed right out.

Terrifying at the outcome may drive one to lose weight, smoke more or even start again. You sit for hours on end staring into oblivion, a huge void that can suck you dry and toss you away.

Is there a future for you when you hear this? Who knows? Only the Strong will pull through. I know, having survived Cancer, the inner strength and the will power needed to overcome is beyond most people’s concept.

All of us at one point or another will have to face the reality and the horror of it.

You have physical symptoms such as disturbed sleep, lower sex drive, palpitations, headaches and sweating.

You cut off communication with your family. You may feel unable to express your fears so appear grumpy or irritable.

Obsessive thinking patterns.

Loss of interest in personal care/hygiene

Oh yes tons of symptoms for just one Word

Your relationship with your partner becomes more difficult, you argue more or communication breaks down completely.

Depression as well can make it extremely difficult to focus on what needs to be done. Which is to move ahead? Take life once again by the horns. One step at time, one day at a time until we can face reality again.

For those of you who still have not figured out what the word is I will break down and let you know.

The word is “REDUNDANT ”

Layoffs are the termination of employment of an employee or (more commonly) a group of employees for business reasons, such as the decision that certain positions are no longer necessary. Originally the term “layoff” referred specifically to a temporary interruption in work, as when factory work cyclically falls off. However, the term has long been applied also to the permanent elimination of positions as a cost-cutting measure (or for other reasons).
