My wife was working for this temporary company for a little over 5 months. She was doing a good job during this trial period, so the people she was working for decided to hire her full time. Great benefits, good pay, etc. One month into working for them they decided to have some layoffs. You guessed it – she got laid off.

My wife filed for unemployment. 2 weeks later she gets this letter that Ajilon was disputing the claim & said she quit the job, so she deserves nothing!
Now, correct me if I’m wrong, most people have to quit one job in this situation. The idea of this temporary company is to place you in a position that will evaluate your performance so that that you will get hired by the company you are doing work for. So, now she has to go to appeals to fight this wrong. Ajilon hired a lawyer to fight the unemployment claim. The claim was that my wife quit without another job offer. Liars!

This fiasco has gone on for 4 months now. Bills are late, rent is almost a month overdue, etc., all because of this company failing to do the right thing. It is amazing to me how one company can lie like they have to try an get out of paying unemployment. The proof is there as her next paycheck is from the company she was working for. Judging by their ideals, if your laid off then your on your own with no pay.

This review is not about Ajilon’s placement of employees. On that subject they seem to do a good job. The problem is that when you leave their hands they are done with you in every way. Please keep this story in mind if you decide to go with this company. If the company you leave Ajilon for lets you go sooner than later, your going to be in a fight for unemployment insurance.
