- Formulate a clear purpose for your small company. This will help you build the business of your dreams a year from now. What particular demographic will your small business go after? How much money will you make this year with all this hard work? You should the life you want to live–with the business you want to own–clearly conceived in your mind at all times especially when things are going slow.
- Have a crystal clear strategy on how you want to make it happen. What will you have to do on a minute-by-minute basis to bring in the desired outcome? Will you have the never say die mentality or will you fold at certain setbacks or obstacles? Having a successful business is not clear sailing. You must overcome the obstacles in your path in roder to make your vision a reality.
- Be resolute. Go after those financial goals with passion, vigor, and reason. Don’t be too emotional, however; reason and logic are the arsenal of successful small businessmen
- Be pigheaded. Most people will try to discourage you from going after your dreams–don’t let them! Go for it. You only have one life to live so live it with purpose. Most people only wish they had the strength to be the business man or woman you will become.
