Create a Platform That Makes Your Business Successful
Learn how to write a powerful mission statement for your business.
In addition to hiring the right employees and providing them great training, you must instill strong values in them to take your business to the top. It is helpful to have a great platform for your organization to be run on. You will learn ideas you can use to create a strong mission statement.
One thing you can do to create a strong mission statement is to include a sentence that reminds your employees of the importance the customers have. For example, your statement could say, “The customers are in charge. Never argue with a customer. Serve each customer with courtesy, patience and a friendly smile.”
Another thing you must do to create a strong mission statement is to motivate the employees to do their best and be punctual. You can write, “There is no room here for complacency, laziness or sloppy work. Everyone in the organization must always do their best and stay focused. Being on time every day is mandatory. Anything less is unacceptable.”
You must encourage the employees to not give up. Your statement could say, “An achiever never gives up and a quitter never achieves anything. Never give up no matter how bad things at work go. Hang in there until the end.”
Encourage your workers to take some risks to get ahead. Your platform could say, “You cannot become successful by always taking the easy or comfortable route when you take on tasks or make business decisions. You must be willing to try new ways of doing things on your own and be a daredevil when it is appropriate.”
Calmness is important for business success. You can write, “It does one no good to panic or overreact to adversity or dealings with others. You must always stay calm and act rationally.”
Teach employees how to handle pressure. Your credo can say, “You will sometimes have to work under pressure. Do not let your pressure overwhelm you. Conquer it by staying relaxed and realizing you must maintain focus and control.”
Encourage the employees to not be helpless. You can tell them, “Self starters are wanted here. Hit the ground running. If you encounter a riddle, be creative and think of your own solution. If you cannot solve your problem, seek help.”
Focus on attitude. Your statement can say, “Do not come with a big ego or only think about yourself. There is no place here for a bad attitude. Leave your troubles outside the building.”
