I think most of us have the same experience. When you want to buy something cheap, you buy something useless or more expensive. It is because the sellers are all genius! The experience I want to share here is about camera sellers.

One of my friends went to buy a Cannon camera which price he had checked. When he came into the shop, the sellers told him that kind of camera had out of the market, and if he insisted to buy that type, he would get the showpiece which was not good. Then the seller began to introduce how good another Nikon camera was. Finally my friend bought that Nikon camera which was about ¥500 more than the Cannon one, which was actually on sale.

The other example is also common. Another one of my friends checked all the data including the price about the camera he wanted online. He went to several shops to compare the price, and in one of them, the seller told him the lowest price and he decided to buy there. Then the change came. The seller told him they didn’t have that camera in the shop right now and they needed to take it from another place. So my friend waited there. During the waiting time, the seller did his best to introduce another type camera which was more expensive but with more functions. When the news came that they didn’t have the type of the camera my friend wanted and well prepared for, my friend decided to buy the camera the seller promoted. He thought the shop must be cheaper than others, which was demonstrated totally wrong.

If you want to beat the sellers, you will always fail. The sellers are good at human nature and they must beat you for their survival. Don’t trust them and directly buy your target product, which may help you to reduce your loss to the minimum.
