Ford had to recall 4.5 million vehicles.

Auto maker issues the largest single recall due to a faulty cruise control that could lead to a fire. The faulty switch can leak hydraulic fluid, overheat, smoke and burn and risks causing a fire even when the ignition is turned off. The risk is elevated for 1.1 million wind stars. Ford drivers should look for warnings of possible fires. This includes malfunctioning cruise control systems and anti lock braking systems. Ford is notifying customers and telling them to take their vehicles to dealers for an installation of a fused wiring harness that extinguishes the risk of fires. So mostly everyone had to take their car to a dealership.
