Tips on how to avoid feeling stressed up at work and reduce stress.

Working the office or any where for that matter is tiring. There are a few tips to reduce tiredness and stress at work. Other than taking vitamins and supplements, why not try these helpful tips:

1 – Be positive!  Attitude matters. If you like what you do, no matter how big a task you have, it will not stress you out. Unnecessary stress will be eliminated if you like the job you have and having a positive attitude helps a lot.

2- Take a break! Set a side a few minutes to do something that is not part of the work. If you have been staring at the computer all day, do something else. Taking a few minutes walk or taking in the fresh air helps.

3- Stop looking at the computer screen for a few minutes.  Using the computer for long hours is stressful to the eyes. Move away from the computer and take a look out the window at something green…preferably at the trees outside your window.

4- Work systematically. Make a priority list. By listing down all the work that need to be done, you will be able to determine the priority. This will eliminate the pressure of having to do too much in such a short time.

5- Drink cold or hot beverages. Drinking plain water is good for the body. Drinking hot drinks can stimulate the mind and freshen the body. Take time to make your own drink and enjoy the drink before going back to your work.

6- Avoid heavy food. Eating too much will you feel sluggish and tired. The best is to take a lot of fruits and vegetables during lunch to ensure that the body will remain energetic throughout the day.

7- Excercise! There is no need to limit excercise only at the gym. Light excercise can ber done anywhere. Just move your body. Take the stairs instead of the lift. Stretch every muscle of your body.

These tips are for you and your own benefit. Too much stress is bad for you. Life is simple if you make it simple. Have fun.
