Journal your ideas

Create prototypes
Itʼs important that once youʼve come up with a really great idea, you make a prototype of it. This is the best way to see what materials work best, itʼs shape and other design elements.
Never give up
Remember that even if your prototype shows flaws in your invention, itʼs ok. The greatest inventors also made mistakes. The key is to keep at it and never give up. Itʼs with determination that they succeeded.

If you can really see your invention working on a mass scale, itʼs really important that you patent the idea. Depending on where you live, patent laws will vary. It has happened many times that people have come up with great ideas but because they didnʼt patent it properly, someone else has created a similar item and got away with it.
Learn about the different methodologies available to make your product a success
You may have a good idea, but if you donʼt know the materials and design elements that will make it a success, it wonʼt be. Learn about plastic injection moulding and other forms of technology used for creating items. Knowledge is power.
