Since hackers and other online predators are always looking for ways to breach your online banking security and access your personal information, it’s best to do all you can to stay ahead of them.
Some persons have lost substantial sums of money through hackers who breached their online banking security and accessed their personal banking information online.

In recent months, customers of Citibank had to receive fresh credit cards to replace their original credit cards, after the bank was hacked.
Hackers were able to get hold of the names and account numbers of Citibank customers, a well as their email addresses. More than 200,000 Citibank clients were affected. Most of those clients were regular users of the bank’s online personal banking services.
Citibank discovered the online banking security breach quickly and was able to take the necessary action to shut it down.

Stolen information can be used to generate new accounts. You can check your credit report at regular intervals to help to make sure that your information hasn’t been stolen and used to create fraudulent accounts.
Some people use credit monitoring services to help them watch for persons who might pilfer their identity and take out loans in their name.
If you use online banking, be sure to vary the login you use on all your accounts for personal banking online. Change your passwords regularly, and avoid doing personal banking online on public computers.

Banking security is most certainly something that requires investments. People want to be sure their money is on the right place.
I know so many people who are afraid to use online banking.
Good advice. Anyway, I only have one account with internet banking and my password is so difficult even I cannot remember it, lol. Anyway, even if someone finds the paper where I wrote it he won’t get in since I left out parts of the password and replaced them with riddle only I can solve (since it is based in something else only I know but remember very well and for many years) and the paper is full of gibberish numbers and letters.
+ there are no credit cards attached to that account (just one debit card) and I keep the balance low (but sufficient) … 
I doubt I can make it any more safe for my money …

Banking security is one thing that seems to be a problem for a lot of people. Every time something gets in place, something compromises it.

This is excellent information. I do not do any online banking but a lot of people do and they have to be careful. You are so vulnerable when you do your banking online so I agree that you should change your password regularly to keep your account from being hacked.
