So you’re in to pageants but what do you do with the dresses after you’re done with them? Unlike jewelry and shoes dresses go out of style almost every year. Some styles will stay in style for many years. This is usually true for velvet dresses. Other styles change every year. Most girls can use out of style pageant dresses for prom dresses. Some girls that want to start pageants will buy their first pageant dresses from other girls. Then there are a lot of people who just can’t afford the expensive dresses every year. So they buy used pageant dresses. There is nothing wrong about buying a used pageant dress, as long as it’s in great condition. When you decide to sell your dress take it to a dry cleaner and have it cleaned. Then try to start selling your dress. Here are some ways of selling your dresses:

1.) Try selling them on facebook or MySpace to other pageant friends

2.) Yard sales

3.) Try consignment shops but make sure you talk to the person in charge over your dresses. Let them know how much you want for YOUR half of the dress. All consignment shops are different and some are better than others.

6.) Try putting them in your local newspaper
