A Solar storm predicted for 2012 is one of the events that are confusing people about the doomsday. It has been said that this solar storm is one of the triggering events of the doomsday, along with the planet alignment, Nibiru, and the Mayan callendar.

According to NASA this Solar Storm is one of the most powerful that occurred in the Universe, and is classified as a class X1.1. One consequence of this storm relates to the magnetic field, which may be affected, including having to change the route of the aircraft.
