Here is something for you to think about. When you grow old and move to a retirement home, what will be there for you to do or entertain yourself? Lets face it, old and not so old always like to be entertained, whether at home or at some event. What people end up talking about days after the event was the way they were entertained, and how much they liked it.

Now my main focus for this business idea would primarily be aimed at older more mature group of people, mostly those in retirement houses and so on.

Why not go to your nearest old age home and talk to them about what you have in mind and you will see how big this need really is, you don’t even have to believe what I’m writing, you can go and have a look for yourself.

When you finally come to the same conclusion that the need for entertainment at old age homes are there you can start looking at the possibilities that are available.

You can start by giving dance lessons and see what the interest be in that.

Also early in the morning, middle afternoon and maybe late afternoon you can offer light exercise classes or yoga matching their age of course.

You can offer treatments, similar to a spa, but for more mature people.

You can do one on one manicures, or wash and dry their hair just like you would find at a topnotch spa, but at half the price.

The asking price for you would depend on the type of service you would be offering. If you are offering a service which you are doing yourself, like nails, dance or massage, you can charge anything from $50 to $100 per service per group of people. Or the you can charge each old age home a monthly flat rate depending on how many people you will be able to service at each home.

For a flat rate of 25 people you can easily ask anything from $1500 to $2000 per old age home. And there should be no reason why you wont be able to do at least 4 old age homes a month which could pocket you anything from $6000 a month to $8000 a month when doing four old age groups a month at a monthly flat rate.
