Finding a Job Today?

Let me tell you fellow readers that it is hard to get a job now a days. Do you know why? It’s simple even though corporate America tells us we want the best in the field, the underlined prints tells us we want to us your knowledge ,but not pay you for it.

We see how every CEO in America gets a lucrative deal when they sign their contracts, it doesn’t matters if in the end the are lousy at what they do or if the company files for bankruptcy ,these people always get paid millions.

I know a lot of talented people who give the blood, sweat and tears for their job and are productive, but it’s time to save money those are the first to go and with the knowledge that they have and experience they can’t get another job doing what these know, they have to try and get jobs in other venues .

It doesn’t matter that you have a college degree or a master degree or even a doctorate , they still have to do back check and drugs test and in the end they give you the excuse that you are over qualified for the job. I now I’m over qualified for the job, but in the mean time I need to pay my bills and no job is to menial as long as I can receive a pay check.

I’m an English teacher and I have a provisional license and I have more than 10 years of experience and I can’t get a job even though the state I’m in has the lowest school average in the country, and I can’t get a job as a steward custodian( dish washer for those who don’t get my drift).

So until the next time don’t give up hope on finding a job that makes you feel part of a team or the job you have studied for and sacrificed for, just remember always study something else(plumber, electrician, a/c technician computer programmer) just in case you lose your job and are to over qualified for another.
