How to get a job

Millions of people are looking for work.  Some of you won’t have had to find jobs before.  By  that I don’t mean that you will never have worked, although that may have been the case for some of you.  No, I mean more that you have done serious jobs, good jobs.  Jobs where a contact got you into a firm, or you that you applied for a newspaper.  What I want to teach you is how to get any job.  Just a job to get you by in the hard times. 

The secret, and there really is only one true secret, is one I call erosion.  It is simple a matter of pressure, over time.  Pressure over time destroys mountains, levels cliffs, changes landscapes, and sees the rise and fall of nations and ideals.  In short, apply enough pressure over enough time and you can achieve anything you want!!! 

So, you ask me, I’ve suggesting that you become the rain, become fluid, dynamic, and take on any form, and fill any crevice.    Smart, but wrong.  I suggest simpley this.:

 Get up for 9am.   Looking for a job is your job right now, treat it like a job. 

Work for 8 hours a day.  As I said, this is your job now, take it seriously, put in the work

Print off maybe 50 Cvs.  Get  friend to look through them, make sure your not making any stupid errors.  Stress transferable skills

Walk into town with your 50 CVs.  Go into every shop, every bar and every business you so, if they say they are looking for staff or not

Apply apply apply, get your name out there.  Apply for anything and everything.  If the Dark lord wants someone to shovel sulpher, then be there spade in hand!

Get up the next day, and do the same thing again

This approach is simple, not only are you getting your name out there, but your making its less effort to employ you than not!!  Simply pressure and pressure until you get that job!! Take any job that’s offered and ungrade if need be.  You should start getting offers in two weeks, if not change your look, or you CV, then apply pressure again.   If you apply to enough places you WILL find one that needs people to work quickly, you will eventually be lucky, and you will find  aj job

Remember, if you have a job its easier to get a job.  So take anything, and work for the eight hours a day.  Your success will be measured in shoe leather, and a job!
