Expand your network now! Build alliances that match your work area. This is for the company and yourself. Try to join the team or collaborate in several projects that evoke the spirit of business. This network is also very helpful if a when you are dismissed from the company; because it has a network is still the best way to get a new job.
Preparing for The Worst Scenario
In addition to efforts to start a business interest, you also need to develop readiness for the worst. Not to instill negative thoughts, but to be anticipatory in taking a more strategic decisions.
There are several ways that can be done. First, you can build a ubiquitous network. For example by becoming a member of the association specific expertise, hobbies, religious associations, and even discussions with colleague’s online community.
Second, you can create a backup plan. For example, if your financial plan can ensure survival if fired from a job. Way, by saving extra money into savings accounts, cutting some spending, and find ways that you can have an emergency fund for a rainy day.
