One Million Jobs That You Can Apply for
Some of the most prevalent positions on the internet job boards are manager and salesman. If your current field is doing you wrong, maybe it’s better to switch than fight.
If you are a person who is willing to take any job there are two sure fire types of jobs in this economy. One is manager which I have discussed elsewhere the second is salesman. Both manager and sales positions are mortal locks as jobs even in an economic down turn. First, almost every state in the union has open sales and management jobs. Second, if you add up all the sales and management openings in the country, that’s over a million jobs.
I can’t promise you a job if you really don’t want one. If you say you will take anything but you don’t mean it or you are actually only pretending to look for work then my methods will not work for you. If you actually are trying and you have a sound body and an able mind, you can find a job within the next 30 days. You may have to move. You may have to take lower pay than you would like. If you are a manly man you may have to be willing to sell undergarments to octogenarians but if you really want to work then we really can get you employed. The only caveat I can think of would be for those with criminal records. Even there, I think the task of finding a job would be harder but not impossible. There are still those who believe in rehabilitation.
Now then, let’s see why I think I can get you a job as a salesman. Arguably the three best places to look for a job online are www.indeed.com, www.juju.com, and www.simplyhired.com. The reason these sites are so good is they search all the underlying job search sites. Once you pick which of these three you like, you might not need to go anywhere else to perform an electronic job search.
If you search for the world “sales” on Indeed with out using any filters, you get 500,000 jobs. Juju comes up with over 100,000 jobs and SimplyHired displays over 400,000 sales jobs. It looks like if you are willing to move to where the work is, you could find a job in sales. Given that a search on the word “manger” will also display about 500,000 jobs on Indeed, there are the one million jobs I promised.
SimplyHired has special filter features on the left hand side of the job search screen that will allow the user to look for large companies or even socially responsible companies.
If you happen to only want a sales job with AT&T, JuJu will let you filter for those kinds of jobs.
If you are only interested in looking for sales jobs that pay a salary of $100,000 or more, Indeed will allow you to filter jobs in that way.
If you have never had a sales job then the holidays can be the best time to get your feet wet. People are actually looking to spend money and to buy something between Thanksgiving and New Years. It’s time to apply for a sales job and make your mark. Black Friday is when a lot of the retailers make their money and show a profit for the year. The black Friday time period between Thanksgiving and New Years could be your lucky days as well.
