The Journey From an Employee to an Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurs are not the same people as the employees of a corporation. The journey from an employee to an entrepreneur is not easy unless the person is committed and is willing to do whatever it takes. Employees are easy to find but it is the entrepreneurs that are hard to find in our society.
There will be times when many people desire to get employed in a public or private corporation. There will be times when many people desire to take the employment on their own. But at all of the times, there will be few who have the deepest desire to taken it by themselves. That is the reason why we see that being an entrepreneur is so much out of ordinary in our lives.
When you feel that you are currently trapped, that you are finding it hard to lead every day, doing the same things day in and day out, when you find yourself in the middle of uncertain crossroads, it is probably the time to look out of the window of your vehicle. If you are not able to continue life with passion, it is time to look for an entrepreneur lifestyle.
You should not take entrepreneurship because you are graduated with an MBA degree or a degree in business management. You should find the burning desire in your heart that dictates your daily actions. You could be self-employed and still working out of passion or burning desire. But there is one thing that sets apart the passionate entrepreneur and the passionate employee.
That is the choice of the person to do any task. Entrepreneurs don’t do their work randomly or lack of choice. They choose to do what they do and they take complete responsibility for that. Whereas the employed person does what he does, not because of choice but because of a lack of choice. There can be few exceptions for either of the cases in reality. But most often this is how they are divided.
When an employed person realizes the deteriorating conditions of his lifestyle and work, he understands that there is a choice for him. The same choice that other employed people do not realize as a choice. By listening to others, who are not encouraging for a transition, he remains in between and entrepreneur and an employee. He finally chooses to become an entrepreneur after mustering enough courage. Thus courage is another virtue that distinguishes an entrepreneur and an employee.
