Here are three jobs that consistently pay well. Feel free to consider them if you’re choosing a career or simply want greener pastures.

The job market is constantly fluctuating when it comes to salary trends, demand, and profitability. Some jobs that pay high salaries today won’t be as “hot” in the near future. Meanwhile, other jobs that are underestimated today might just become the most in-demand position in the future.  You never know.

Despite the volatility and unpredictable state of the job market, there are jobs that consistently remain on top of the “ace list”. These are career positions that any serious employee who wants to move up the corporate ranks must aspire for. Let’s look at this brief list of three (3) high paying jobs for the eager career person.

Lawyer With A Private Practice

Statistics from 2004 to 2005 show that law related jobs are always within the top 20 high paying career positions. While public lawyers who engage solely in criminal cases get a smaller share of the pie, private lawyers earn a little bit more. Specialized law related jobs, such as being the in-house lawyer of a firm, or a law consultant for real estate investors, can pave the way for a $90,000 to $100,000 per year income.

Airline Pilot, Engineer, Or Air Traffic Controller

Pilots and special airline crew members  are not in the airline industry simply because they love to fly. Far from it. They also love the comfortable income that their job gives them. When you’re earning $120,000 upwards per year, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind the long waits at the airport, would you? That’s fair pay, considering the great risk and danger involved with the flights.

Information Technology (IT) Managers

These people are often mistaken for computer geeks. True or not, they are valuable manpower for any company running some sort of secure computer system. When the chips are down and the digital tools are becoming hard to deal with, IT professionals are the one to count on. If you happen to become the manager of a high profile company’s IT department, you have time to smile because you have at least $90,000 in your bank account every year.

Ask the employees at Google. They probably earn more.
