What is expected by management of the employee in an organizational environment.

There are times when it seems as though your employer wants you to be as obedient as a pet when performing services and assignments.

Other times it might seem as though he wants you to do the impossible and pull a rabbit out of a hat by doing the impossible in accomplishing what needs to be done.

An employer’s first principle should be to make clear what is expected on the job. The second principle should be to make clear and define the expectations in terms of specific and objective standards or goals. Employees are expected to do their best in carrying out their jobs. Another way of stating this is that an employee is expected to give a day’s work for a day’s pay.

An employee’s performance of tasks will often be way above average if the employee works to accomplish certain goals, rather than just attempting to do their best.

Responsibilities for management positions are quite detailed and encompasses some major tasks. Procedures for selection and placement of organizations have the purpose of filling job openings with the most suitable applicant. Many applicants are looking for jobs that suit their interests and needs. Organization representatives and applicants must share information to find a common ground for employment. Exchange of information starts when recruitment is being implemented and continues while the candidate is going through the selection process.

Performance qualifications for various jobs are difficult to establish.
