the benefits of working at home

Yes there is still an alarm clock that my wife and I adhere to, but other than that, we are free to work at our own pace, choose our own times, and in general answer only to each other.

Over the years (before working at home) I’ve been snubbed by condescending bosses, cut my very flesh with over sharpened tools, burned my skin with parts that were made in haste all in the name of productivity. No more.

We may not be rich, but we are wealthy and healthy in
mind and spirit. Answering to no one but ourselves, we have no one to blame if we don’t succeed. The myriad of home based businesses that exist today are too numerous to mention, but if you are a part or an owner you can share in the feeling of freedom that goes along with being your own boss. I’m not talking about irresponsibility; I’m talking about self-liberation, self-expression, and in fact self-awareness. I would go as far as to say that most “nine to fivers” have left a spot in their hearts somewhere that longs to call itself BOSS.

What do you think? Are you sneaking the time to read this at work…or doing it at your leisure? I hope for your sake it’s the latter.
