Nobody Does Chicken Like KFC
KFC operates in 74 countries. There are bound to be different tastes which means different menus to cater for them. How does KFC do it?
China

Along with serving chicken, they also serve other poultry.
Instead of coleslaw, Chinese KFC restaurants offer a cup of vegetables which contains mostly corn.
For the breakfast menu, the fried bread stick has been a long-term product. This comes with a bowl of con gee to dip in if desired, or eaten separately.
India

There is a large vegetarian community in India, but KFC has managed to cater for them with their vegetarian menu, despite ‘chicken’ as their main product.
Such vegetarian products include the tangy, lip-smacking paneer tikka wrap n’ roll, the vegetarian delight burger, and the vegetarian crispy burger.
On the menu, there is also peppery rice and spice curry which can go with golden vegetable fingers (a bit like fries.)
Chicken burgers such as the Zinger are identical to Zinger burgers around the world except there is a different topping or sauce to cater for different cultures and tastes. This applies to India where sauces are modified such as the mayonnaise with egg products, which is not offered to vegetarians.
France

KFC restaurants in France do not serve coleslaw or mashed potatoes.
Ironically, the French fries (frites, I should say) can be substituted by a corn on the cob or salad.
Ice cream is served the restaurant too!
Ah yes, ‘Nobody does chicken like KFC’.
This article was written in an Australian’s POV thus for example Ice cream being served in a French restaurant would be surprising because at Australian restaurants, there is no ice cream on the menu!
