Building Those Strengths
Every organization needs to learn to place value on, trust and empower their associates, in order to bring out their full potential and benefit as a whole.
Each associate needs to feel as though they can trust the organization, managers and associates with which they work. They need to be aware their input matters. They want to be aware of the inner workings of our organization. They want to know they are important, appreciated and
add value to their organization. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses because no one is perfect. We have to set high but measurable expectations and follow through with them in order to maintain them. The trick is to find out what those weaknesses are and build to turn them into strengths because a person is only as strong as their weaknesses. So ask for feedback…
Have you ever heard of “Pareto’s 80/20 rule”? Well… when it comes to
Working and dealing with people from within an organization. It is about focusing the majority of your time using their gifts, strengths, and talents which will add value to their daily performance and in turn to our organization. The time left over recognizing and overcoming those weaknesses in doing this it will then make our associates more valuable if they decide to advance within our company, because by then they will be professionals at what they do!
Sometimes change is the worst part of the whole thing, but the only thing that is constant and everlasting in this world is change! Sometimes it can be fearful! The unknown!!! You have to learn to accept, benefit, adapt, build and grow with these changes. Otherwise you will be passed by or left behind! It is all about the choices that we make and our attitudes! Be Positive! Accept change! Yes… different managers do things differently, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It allows the associates and our managers to benefit, grow and learn new skills and traits!
The most important thing to remember is that you have to enjoy what you do because that is when you are going to work to the best of your ability and your potential! You have got to have fun with it because this positive behavior will be noticeable in the atmosphere when Customers or Visitors enter the store! So remember to always place value in the people you work with, place trust in their abilities, remember to communicate openly and all of these put together will create a better environment for everyone!

This is so very true. If you don’t enjoy the organization in which you work, or don’t feel appreciated, your work relationships will suffer, along with your performance. Nice work.
