Knowing a little about the expectations of the person interviewing you will help you win the job.

This writing is on How to Plan an Interview and is not intended for the job hopeful being interviewed but for the interviewer, the hiring manager who is conducting the interview.

Step One:  The hiring manager should always respect the job hopeful who is being interviewed and the position. Schedule the interview to fit the schedule of the interviewee, the person who is being interviewed.

Step Two: If the hiring manager has to fill a position by a particular date, schedule the interview far in advance of the date to accommodate the  workload.

Step Three:  The hiring manager should  call the interviewee or contact via email or regular  mail and let the interviewee know the expected duration of the interview. Scheduling the interview for a  thirty minute time period  is normally enough time to evaluate the candidate for the job vacancy.
