Managing the Right Way
How to manage people.
- Have leadership. Most middle managers lack this essential ingredient. You can only manage people if you are a leader. Don’t be one of those middle managers who is more interested in impressing their boss than leading his subordinates.
- Have goal-oriented meetings. Every Good Leader knows how to hold goods meetings; every good manager knows how to get tasks accomplished. Managers must be able to delegate responsibilities to subordinates and ensure those responsibilities are taken care of.
- Set Completion Dates. Setting deadlines are essential components of management. Also, competent leaders set financial projections for their ventures and establish hitting those projections as the norm. Good managers know how to bring out the best in themselves and others.
