Organization is Half The Battle
Stay organized for less stress.
Sometimes in our busy lives we cannot even find a pen to jot down a note. Or paper to write it on for that matter. Being organized will help you stay focused to the task at hand. I cannot say that I have mastered organization by any means, but the small semblance of organization in my life helps me stay sane. It will also save you time. Do you remember that last time you spent valuable time searching for something you misplaced? Or hours trying to figure out what happened to $500 in your bank account? There is a method to the madness of organization. Begin organizing a small part of your life, lets say your desk. Organize it so you can find your stuff when you need it. Always put back things you use to its designated home so you can find it again. Nothing irritates me worse than not being able to find what you need, when you need it. The feeling of accomplishment of a task certainly outweighs the negligence of the time it takes to begin to being organized. This will help you also to live in harmony with your family. You will become less of a burden to them to help you find things that you have misplaced or have not kept up with very well. If you began anything you do with organization you have won half the battle before you have even begun. Organizational skill have to be developed for some. A few neurotics are born this way, but for most of us it is a learning curve. Try things to improve your organizational skills to see how it improves your time management. You will be surprised at how much time you will save doing it right the first time. Also you will see the amount of goals accomplished by being organized increase. Do not become neurotic to the point that organization is an end in itself. Becoming organize will help you reach your goals faster and with less effort. Once you have mastered your desk, move on to other areas in your life and you will be surprised on how it will improve your life. Remember grandmas old adage a place for everything and everything in its place.
