Affiliate Marketing: How Does It Work?

The Affiliate Marketing, you know? This is a new business directly related to the development of the Internet, already mentioned in this blog but never explain exactly how.

Why I speak today? Simply because it is a very good opportunity to take now to all those who want to earn money on the Internet. In continuation of my ticket on Dropshipping, this activity can be very rewarding and yet does not require a single computer connected to the Internet, and a lot of work (note that these two points back often!). It is therefore feasible by (almost) any person with a great motivation.

Because the key to success is always the same: we must be highly motivated to get started. As Dropshipping, the Affiliate Marketing is a real job that requires skills that are essential if we are to succeed. Skills can be acquired on the Internet, of course, provided again to speak English. There are some excellent bloggers who disseminate their knowledge daily (and screenshots of their bank!), So why not take advantage?
And the least we can say is that they earn a lot of money! Take Jonathan Volk, an American barely 20 years: he managed to win in one day more than 11 000 dollars in commissions through affiliate marketing governed with whom he works. And it’s far from the only or the most rich indeed!

The origins of Affiliate Marketing 

The business of marketing the membership has appeared on the issue of monetization of websites. It is a way for webmasters to earn money through the hearing of their site, like advertising or paid to click on the display.

For example, the webmaster will offer our visitors to purchase a product from an ecommerce partner (affiliation). He then touches a commission on each sale. The formula can be applied to any property or service. Simple and effective, a true win-win as they say!

Well, it is the basis of affiliation. What interests us especially is the Affiliate Marketing without a website. Here, there is no question the audience to monetize a site, but to buy it directly.

Who? Which may well obtain a hearing against the purchase of some keywords? Google, of course! There is absolutely no need for a website to enter the business of Affiliate Marketing as the practice including Johnatan Volk. And I’ll tell you why.

Affiliate Marketing: How does it work? 

The principle of Affiliate Marketing is simple. For example, I would like to participate in the affiliate program from Apple. Here’s how this works:

1 – I choose the product that I want to sell on the Apple site
2 – Apple I give my affiliate link pointing directly to the sheet product of the Apple Store
3 – I created an ad on Google Adwords and buy keywords
4 – I stick my affiliate link in my ad
5 – When someone clicks on my ad and buys the product from the Apple Store, I receive a commission

That’s the very simplified operation. Then just work on its ROI (return on investment) through the selection of the best campaigns of key words, and the money comes (almost) alone!

Almost, because in fact it is slightly more complicated. Google banned the use of Adwords to refer directly to an affiliate link. You can run campaigns, but they last a few weeks / months before being removed. In addition, there are certain restrictions imposed by the membership. To circumvent this problem, create affiliates Landing Page (landing page) where users will be redirected in a first time immediately after clicking on the ad. It is a simple web page that is particular to promote the merits of the product / service, and must push for the purchase. This page contains a single link, one that leads to the product page (in our example, the links to the datasheet of the Apple Store).

Level traceability, membership place a cookie on the computer of the user who said it was you who referred the customer. Generally, all purchases made by the client for 30 days you will receive a commission.

That is the essence of the operation. Of course, there are many other ways to earn money with the Affiliate Marketing.
