Strange but real advertisements of real products from the not-so-distant past, when doctors posed for Camel cigarettes, and Lysol was a feminine wash.

There was actually a brand of condoms in the 1920s called “Frat Boy.”
Spoof or not, lard DOES taste great on hot rice, with a little salt

The “Blow in her face” ad was a variant on the old Laugh-In line: “Blow in my ear and I’ll follow you anywhere.”

Women would douche with Lysol because a lot of the ads made it sound like it would kill sperm, ’sanitizing’ everything. I wonder what it actually did…
