Sexy Sells Everything: Is It True?

Long gone are the days where advertisements were boring. These days, you get to see hot and sexy ladies posing for you on TV trying to sell products or services. These ladies are dressed in skimpy clothes and the in some cases, you might even get ladies who wear bikinis.

Even GoDaddy uses sex to sell their domains and services. Although this is not wrong but would you buy something that is advertised through the sexy ladies on TV? This is important since advertisements sell businesses. Sex is selling products and services, which is weird because years ago, sex sells sex.

I am sure that most people would actually buy the products regardless whether they need it or not. It is the influence on advertisements that cause them to buy the items even if they don’t have the intention to buy.

At one point, perhaps all a man could think of is,

“If I buy this product, can I get the sexy girl on TV?”

However, if you are smart enough, perhaps you would not fall for such a trap. Still, how do you avoid buying things just because someone asks you to?

It is all in your mind. If you are conscious about your spending, you would have stop and think whether you need it or not. Then, you will review finance whether you have the money to get the items you want.

Of course most important is whether you need to use or not because there is no use in getting something you are not using. Why waste money buying something that will end up in the store room anyway?

If you disagree that sex sells, perhaps you can come up with reasons to back up your opinion.

You would want to check out the sites that are against advertisements, including cigarette and beer advertisements. Most of the sites promote consumer responsibility and protection.

As conclusion, I am sure that sex sells at one point until people are bored with sex itself. However, are you bored with sex or sexy ladies?
