I just compiled a huge list of the most searched keywords on Google.

This question is always inside the publishers/webmasters/marketeers heads all the time: What are people looking for when they search on Google?

Here is the answer from Google itself. All the reasearch was made using Google Trends, a tool from Google Labs that most people don’t even dream off.

So what are the magic keywords you should be pursuing?

Keep in mind that Google doesn’t show absolute numbers, it only shows how popular keywords are compared with another ones.

I used Adwords as the main comparisson keyword. If Adwords is searched 1 time, Health for example is searched 52 times.

  • adwords    1.00
  • sex 216.
  • hotel 208
  • windows 170.0
  • google 168.0
  • ebay 146.0
  • music 145.0
  • news 118.0
  • videos 114.0
  • car 108.0
  • love 84.0
  • office 81.0
  • movies 76.0
  • life 69.0
  • microsoft 62.0
  • credit 53.5
  • health  52.0
  • business 54.0
  • job  47.0
  • insurance 43.0
  • information 42.0
  • education  33.0
  • heart 28.0
  • death 25.0
  • cancer 23.0
  • treatment 13.0
  • surgery 10.0

Of course there are much more keywords and this is not even the tip of the iceberg but Google only allows 4 keywords at a time so if you want to find out more I suggest you to try Google Trends by yourself.
