Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship are Not New Today
Entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship are not something new we find today. They are there all of the time but the task they did was different. They shape the society, determine the economy and even define the future of a society.
Entrepreneurship is not something new that we find only in our modern society. We may think that due to technological development many people are resorting to work at home jobs, self-employment, stock trading profession etc.
But the entrepreneurs were there all of the time. In your great grandparents’ generation, in your grandparents’ generation, in your parents’ generation, now your generation and in the future generations as well, there are and will always be many entrepreneurs in a society.
The form and style of their activities may be different. The time they spend, the shifts they take, the place they choose may be different. But they are the same people – entrepreneurs.
They are the people who define the progress of a kingdom. They are the ones who determine the status of economy. They are also the people who with their choices create products, markets as well as employment.
Whatever the time may be, entrepreneurship is fraught with lot of hardship. You cannot just become an entrepreneur because you don’t want to do your current job nor because you are paid low. There must be a burning desire to do something on your own, to be financially independent and to show that you are capable of accomplishing something or creating something that others said cannot be done.
An entrepreneur does not always succeed. Many will give up soon after they start. But it is those that persist at all odds that eventually succeed. In the end they rise up to say that no matter whatever they sacrificed in their entrepreneurship journey, “it was worth it”!
