This is a quick review of the Best Coffee in the Northwest.

I attended a conference the other day, and while I enjoyed myself, the icing on the cake was a cup of coffee.

Ok maybe it was an almond mocha but the point is my eyes were open to whole new world of coffee drinking. I’ve had my fair share of calorie-laden, rich coffee drinks but I have learned that I’m a rank amateur.

I stood in an amazingly long line to reach the only coffee stand I could possible hit and still get back in my seat before the break was over. If I’d been a little more awake I probably would have skipped it but I would have missed out. When it was finally my turn to order I met Joseph, the owner of the business. Joseph and his wife Cecily are building the American dream one cup at a time and doing it the old fashioned way-by having a better product.

One cup of their premium roasted mocha and I knew that I was kissing a certain chain stores bitter, over-sweetened motor oil goodbye. Let’s face it Starbucks doesn’t have the best tasting coffee. Their stores are clean and their employees are friendly but they char their grounds a little, every time. I get good service in spades from Joseph and Cecily. When’s the last time the owner of Starbucks made your mocha? Now that I’ve had He Brew’s coffee I’m sticking with them.
