When this is achieved consistently, demand for product is likely to increase overtime as you should prepare resources to cater for such surge when it arises. Product which you wish to offer should be seen as handy for use at any time.
If overtime you have a good business network, try franchising with a large company that would use your advantage or laid down structures to penetrate a particular customer group. This is a very fast way of entering the world of small business. It is a known fact that Franchisor prefers to use small operators who want to make quick cash without investing huge capital.
Consciousness is the watch word for a successful small and medium business enterprise to their neighborhood. You should be aware of new entrance into your same kind of business and also to new ways of improving your small scale business as this would go a long way to improve the kind of services which you render to your consumers. You must know the game-plan of your competitors and look for their weakness. Always try to work on their weaknesses of your competitors, as this is the only way to remain in the same business with them. Do not underestimate the powers of any competitors, as he has not come to offer you any help. Create new products and innovations to counter their ideas as this would provide your customers a fulfilled service for the money spent on your product.

As a result of this, always target the growth area of the economy where people are really spending money and where innovations are welcome. Always try to avoid crowded areas of any business, where people are moving out from and look for areas that are relevant to the moving trend of your target consumers. Also, the society and culture should be looked into seriously before one venture into any small or medium scale enterprise.
