My views on Supermarkets and their effect on local shops and the community.

It is a quite alarming feature of the average British high street in the last few years that Tesco are becoming ubiquitous. It is easy to understand the attraction: they’re cheap (ish), no-frills, plenty of special offers and BOGOFs, everything in one place.

The first and most obvious of course is that many people will suffer from lack of food security – simply, people will not have enough to eat and will be at risk of malnutrition or famine.
